Warranty + Returns

Returns

Unwanted Items:

Cancellations are accepted on any unwanted item up to 7 working days after the item is received by the customer as long as the item and packaging are new, unused and undamaged and are not defaced in any way.

Please get in touch within 7 days of receiving the item to cancel your order. You then have up to 30 days to return the item(s).

The original cost of the item(s) will be refunded within 30 days (often sooner) of Airlab receiving the returned item(s), minus postage costs. The customer is responsible for all postage costs when returning unwanted items.

All returned items must include either the original invoice, or the customer’s details on a separate sheet of paper. Under no circumstances should the customer write on or mark the item(s) or the packaging. Doing so would prevent Airlab from accepting the returned item(s).

Returns are not accepted on products where the product itself or the packaging is damaged, marked, scratched or show any other signs of use.

Damaged/faulty Items:

Airlab will usually check items for damage before shipping. However, this is not always possible.

If you receive a damaged or faulty product, you are entitled to choose a refund or a replacement/repair, as long as you contact Airlab in a reasonable amount of time after receiving the product. The cost(s) of returning faulty/damaged items via Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class Recorded will be paid/reimbursed by Airlab.

Please contact us as soon as you notice something is wrong, and if appropriate we will help diagnose the problem to determine if the product is indeed faulty/damaged. Please provide us with as much information as possible. Often we will need a lot of information about your specific setup to determine if a product is actually faulty. This is in part due to the poor implementation of industry standards and loose manufacturing tolerances in airsoft, so fitment with other manufacturer's parts is not guaranteed.

When returning faulty/damaged items, you must include either the original invoice or a sheet of paper with your details.

We do not repair, replace or accept returns on items:

  • Damaged by the customer through negligence or misuse,
  • Damaged through normal wear and tear,
  • Damaged, modified or altered in any way by anyone other than Airlab staff.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all parts fit correctly and are installed correctly before use, and that the parts are suitable for the customer’s intended use (eg rate of fire or power output). If you are unsure about any aspect of part selection, please get in touch with us and we will advise you.

Warranty

All internal upgrade parts (unless otherwise specified):

No warranty is offered on internal upgrade parts due to the large variety of possible operating conditions, and the necessity to correctly modify, tune and maintain an airsoft gun in order to ensure reliable operation. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that parts are compatible before use. If you are unsure which part(s) are compatible, please contact Airlab and we will advise you.

Due to the poor implementation of industry standards and loose manufacturing tolerances in airsoft, fitment between parts made by two or more different manufacturers is not guaranteed. If the customer finds a product is not compatible with their airsoft gun, they may cancel the sale as 'unwanted' (see above) within 7 days of receiving the product. However, if they modify a part in any way, they will not be able to return it unless Airlab explicitly states otherwise.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all components are in full working order and free of defects before subjecting them to the stresses of the customer's particular use. It is also the customer's responsibility to ensure that all parts have been correctly tuned and/or modified in order to ensure correct, reliable operation. For example all pistons must be lightened if they are intended for high rate of fire operation. Of course, any item which is modified by the customer cannot be returned, so it is essential that anyone new to airsoft upgrade work familiarise themselves with the correct procedures, methods and techniques before attempting to modify an airsoft gun. Information is available in Airlab's Workshop section. There is also an extensive library of information on the forums at AirsoftMechanics.com.

Sorbothane Pads:

A lifetime warranty applies to the adhesive between the sorbothane and the protective shield. If the layers ever separate, please return the pad to us for inspection. If we find that the adhesive has failed, we will ship you a new pad for free, and reimburse your return postage costs.

The warranty does not apply to the pad if the sorbothane has been torn from the protective shield. This only occurs if someone has physically tried to remove the protective shield, and should never happen under normal use.

The warranty does not apply to the adhesive between the sorbothane and cylinder head, unless the installation was carried out by Airlab.
